I glad your fund raising was successful. It’s so valuable to have a reliable accounting from someone who actually lives in Europe.

Why have all the government elites in Europe and the US drunk the austerity kool aid? It seems like a mass psychosis. The business world is full of greedy sociopaths, and the governments are clueless. This isn’t the world I signed up for.

Selfishness and greed are traits that children have and that most of us grow out of. The rest seem to become part of the financial or corporate elite in the main. As far as I can see. An interesting point made in Richard Heinbergs latest book, is that, the development of humans has led us to be able to see the consequences of ouractions in the long term. Unfortunately the policy makers and business interests ignore those skills in favour of more basic human traits. I cant recommend The End of Growth highly enough. Very thought provoking.

You have contributors/well wishers because you are so good at explaining this stuff and creating an ambience whereby all comments are welcome and nobody is derided . If I have a complaint it is that I want to hear your thoughts on a more frequent basis
