I liked this account of society. Here in Australia this account is factual and all that ever changes is the faces, not the representation. “For the people” has no meaning as government is rarely to do with the people.
The worst part of the whole language of deceit is that the media is owned by big business interests and the propaganda campaigns these organisations run are for the benefit of their owners and the big business conglomerates associated with these behemoths. The recent Federal election in Australia was orchestrated by Rupert Murdoch…a one time Australian but now an American citizen. Murdoch in association with Australia’s other big media houses hijacked the election campaign and saw to it that his conservative party, together with some of the most malicious and bad politicians ever seen in this nation, was elected. And then the first Budget handed down contained a 1.5% tax cut FOR BUSINESS whilst lying about the needs of the nation which were not being addressed in any way.
My eyes are open but lets not hold our breath for the rest of the nation which is content sitting in front of the TV or being at the club bending the elbow or gambling. We get what we deserve not what we should get.
