Just thought I’d let people know that I will be giving a talk about the book and our present situation, in Lancaster in November.
It’s a public meeting at the Gregson Centre on Wednesday 24th November in the evening. It’s open to all, organised by the Green Party. It would be a chance to meet and talk informally as well.
I will also be speaking at Lancaster Central Library earlier on the same day at 1pm. Again it is open to all, organized by the Library Service and County Council.

I think the web site will be up early next week. I’ll let you know.

What chance of something in London…?
ianu,
It's mainly a matter of finance. I am keen to come to meet people and talk if people would like tme to. But I just can't afford to fund it. So what it boils down to is if there is a group who can defray the cost of travel between them.
Sorry to be so mercenary about it. But you can see how costs would quickly mount up.
So far, apart from Lancaster I have been asked by someone in GLASGOW/EDINBURGH, another in BRIGHTON and you in LONDON. There readers in all these areas. Half a dozen of you in Glasgow/Edinburgh, lots and lots around London and a few towards Brighton.
What I can offer is if there are other people in those areas who would like me to come, if they email Golem I can put you in touch with other interested people in your area. People could then talk via email or use the Debt Gen Facebook site. Which ever way people feel comfortable.
It would be a matter of are there enough people in their area to keep the cost low.
All I ask is to have my travel covered and if it's an overnight, the offer of somewhere to bed down. I'm a cheap date!
My details supplied, so if anyone else in London wants to explore this, do as suggested!
My details supplied also, so if anyone else in Edinburgh/Glasgow area is interested, please contact Golem, and we can arrange a date.
Hi
http://www.Burnthebankers.org is looking forward to meeting with you during your Lancaster visit. We may be able to arrange a university presentation; I have linked Mark into the University in Crisis group at Lancaster University. There are a series of lectures taking place over the coming months focusing on the crisis and how it impacts the university. Check out the burnthebankers.org blog for dates and updates…
