  1. Never been that far north dude and hopefully never will 😛

Saw a cheeky little video of a police lady lying her socks off to the UKuncut squad HERE

How come the blac bloc get to smash the place up and the harmless peaceful protesters get kettled off and ALL arrested?

I've noticed my songs reflect what was in my head. If I get too much of this in it I'm gonna morph into Rage Against The Machine style musings.

  2. Hey thanks JamieG.

Yeah it's a joke innit. What is also ludicrous is watching UK Uncut on Newsnight not condeming the violence. A politition will condem violence while punching you in the face, or blow the sh!t out of a country in the name of freedom. Clare Solomon fell into the same hole on Newsnight too.

Why do these people let me down? 🙁

    Your on Newsnight. Everybodies watching.
" I totally condem the violence seen at the London protest. I also condem the actions of polititions for bailing out the riches losses in a free market and burdening the majority with immense debt to save bankers. Cutting hospitals, schools etc"

It's not that hard is it?

They make me wanna scream. That was an advertising opportunity on bbc and they dont even have £$%^ing adverts. ARGGHHHHH!

    What am I gonna do?

    Make tea I'm vexed now.

  3. I would warmly recommend that during the Q&A you find it in you to pique the audience's interest in the monetary system. As I wrote in "Charlie Rose Interviews Charles Ferguson" on my blog, even Mr. Ferguson appears oblivious to the inevitable logic of our monetary system and instead points the finger at problems that are not only the proximate cause of the crisis but are enshrined in the monetary dynamic.

  4. Golem. I know what you mean, people up here are still licking their wounds. The fragility is not being helped by rising employment, public service jobs make up a large part of the Norths economy. Construction also used to make up a large part & property prices have halved, these are worse here because of the strong connection to the Republics economy.

The dissidents are playing on this as their support is mainly made up of disaffected youth in areas like North/West Belfast, where unemployment is very high & likely to get worse.

Any other sort of dissension, I think, would tend to get lost in the Republican/Unionist divide, or hi-jacked by Sinn Fein.

Dodgy times ahead, which is sad, the majority of people up here, of whatever flavour are as good as you'll get.

  5. Thanks for coming to Lancaster .. I really enjoyed (if thats the right phrase for serious topics) the discussion after the film. I think you are right about the broad church approach to solutions and thats what has stuck in my head today – its makes sense because it can get overwelming to try to do everything – Im growing stuff and creating an alternative at the same time hoping for a revolution of politics and banking and our general approach to life on this earth now. I think we should get back to having houses as homes and not investment and we can live in them and make families and be happy. Not be slaves who make others rich and has a money system based on our labor being sold to other countries. Personally i liked what you said about letting the banks fail and setting up new ones. I'm all for that.
