Just in case any of you have friends or relatives in Greece, some of the articles from the blog in which I have argued that Greece, Portugal and Ireland DO have an alternative to the endless and unjust austerity and bank bail-outs that are being forced upon them, are now being translated into Greek on this – http://elegr.gr/ web site.
Jenny Gkiougki is one of the people who set it the web site and she did the first translation. I am filled with gratitude.
The financial class have not won the propaganda war yet.
and in case you haven't seen it: DEBTOCRACY
http://www.debtocracy.gr/indexen.html
""For the first time in Greece a documentary produced by the audience. “Debtocracy” seeks the causes of the debt crisis and proposes solutions, hidden by the government and the dominant media. The documentary will be distributed free by the end of March without usage rights and broadcasted and subtitled in at least three languages."

Dear David,
Would you mind if I translate some of your posts to Spanish? I think many people in Spain should read your comments too.
Please let me know

Demon,
I would not mind at all, In fact I would be delighted and grateful. I have thought of asking for help translating but haven't because I am aware of how much work it entails.
If I had money getting articles translated is what I would spend it on. I feel what is holding protest back is that each people feels they might be on their own. I fear that all people in Spain, Greece and Portugal ever hear is the xenophobic tosh spouted by the tabloids. I feel desperate that I cannot make myself heard simply to say to them, please don't think that all of us here share the racist, xenophobic bile you see printed in the tabloid press about the so called debtor nations.
SO please, if you feel you can and want to translate anything – do. Just please mention some link to the orignal blog.
Let me know if there is anything I can do to facilitate.
Dear David,
I will contact you directly on your mail.
Thanks!
Demon
There is a problem with the English subtitles on the Dailymotion version of Debtocracy. The subtitles on the Youtube version are much better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKpxPo-lInk .
