Keiser report interview

I’ve been tol that the interview on the Max Keiser Show will go out on Thursday.

In case you don’t know, Max Keiser goes out on RT (Russia Today) which is on Freeview.  The show is then put up on YouTube fairly quickly thereafter.

  1. nice to see you on my favourite ransters prog last night.

An odd mix, but i think it worked, a gold loving uber capitalist, and a anti, free trade, globalisation greenie. A discussion of Karmabanque hedge fund might have been interesting, but hey thats not what you are there to do.

Not sure about the geography teacher jacket, but shirt and hair was a winner, and it must be hard not to looked shocked at Max's rant, so 10/10 for composure.

Bankers are easy to deal with if you want, and thats to take fiat money away from them..but I guess we have been there before. As for the rest, i am a slow motion train wreck type of guy.

I was reading this at the time, I thought it quite apt.

The essential aims of life are present naturally in every person. In everyone there is some longing for humanity's rightful dignity, for moral integrity, for free expression of being and a sense of transcendence over the world of existence. Yet, at the same time, each person is capable, to a greater or lesser degree, of coming to terms with living within the lie. Each person somehow succumbs to a profane trivialization of his inherent humanity, and to utilitarianism. In everyone there is some willingness to merge with the anonymous crowd and to flow comfortably along with it down the river of pseudolife. This is much more than a simple conflict between two identities. It is something far worse: it is a challenge to the very notion of identity itself.

"living within the Lie" explains economics and finance pretty well don't you think?

btw, a cousin got married in 2006, and rung me up for advice on mortgages, she ignored me and took out a 120%, 6 times earning job…so yes they do have a choice.

    Hello Sean,

A belated Happy New Year to you. I hope you and yours are well.

What a brilliant quote! I had not seen it before. Thank you.

Geography teacher ? – Ouch! That's cold Sean. That's my best jacket too.

Living within the lie is, as you say, perfect.
